LA POETICA DEL DISSENSO

Cartelli, manifesti, scritte sui muri… le
parole e i suoi supporti sono sempre stati
dei degni compagni del dissenso. Slogan
scanditi a gran voce si trasformano in segni
leggibili; la scrittura fissa il pensiero e
lo sguardo, ma soprattutto adduce a un
altro gesto: quello dell’azione collettiva.
“La bellezza è nella strada”, citava un manifesto
del Maggio ’68, mentre le parole si
trasformavano in poesia pura, “l’antimateria
della società dei consumi” (Internazionale
situazionista), in un gioco di creazione
e un grido di libertà e di giustizia,
oggi ancora validi.

Placards, posters, writing on the walls…
words and their supports have always been
worthy companions of dissent. Slogans
chanted loudly turn into legible signs; the
writing fixes the thought and the gaze, but
above all leads to another gesture: that of
collective action. “Beauty is in the street”,
quoted a manifesto of May 68, while the
words are transformed into pure poetry,
“the antimatter of the consumer society”
(Situationist International), in a game of
creation and a cry for freedom and equity,
still valid today.
