È meglio abbondare che scarseggiare (Melius est abundare quam deficere) dicevano i latini. Ma sembra che sia il motto – in eccesso – anche dell’uomo contemporaneo: avido di cibo, di terra, di oggetti, di tecnologia, di soldi, di potere, ecc. vuole sempre di più, tutto deve abbondare. Il fuoco della possessione arde… forse non sa che è solo un uomo di cartapesta.
